Today in maths we looked the mode, mean, median and range of a couple of things.
We discovered the following:

Shoe size: Girls Mode 5,7,8 Mean 6.3 Median 6 Range 7
Boys Mode 7 Mean 5.8 Median 7 Range 7
Class Mode 7 Mean 6.1 Median 6.5 Range 9

Girls Mode 150, 156 Mean 154.9 Median Range 28
Boys Mode 143, 152 Mean 141.4 Median Range 19
Class Mode 150, 142 Mean 151.9 Median Range 28

From the USA

We heard back from Walter G Byers School recently. Miss Abraham sent us photos of her class reading the letters. We really hope some of them write back to us. We are a bit jealous that they are starting summer holidays very soon.

Congrats!!!!

A huge congratulations to Maxine for winning the Yr 7 speech competition. You made us all very proud and it was great to see Maxine's mum there.
Maxine will be presenting her speech to the whole school tomorrow-good luck for that.

Also congrats to everyone for the great work they have done at ICT this week. I can't wait to get the planet fact sheets finished and displayed around the room.
